August 19th:

Showresults from Estonia, 14th of August. Oona was showing off her stuff in Estonia last weekend, and placed 2nd best bitch with CAC under breeder-judge Iren Naarits. So now Oona can add another title to her name and is now: Fin Est Ch Antheartica's A Woman of Affairs. Congrats, Pico and Oona!

Oona's mom- Emily has also had a good summer. On August 7th, she was awarded 2nd best bitch with CAC in Sweden under sighthound judge Knut Blütecher. So Emily is now N S Ch Antheartica's Earth Wind 'n Fire. Emily is currently one of Norway's top afghan bitches.

May 24th:

Shownews from Norwegian Sighthoundspecialty:
 22nd of May - Emily 2nd best bitch, Pablo 3rd best male and Panther 4th best male. Lotta was 4th in champion class. Knl Antheartica BIS2 breeders group.

23rd of May - Emily BOS and Pablo 3rd best male. Panther 4th in open and Lotta 4th in championclass. We did not enter with the breeders group this day. The dogs were pretty tired and so was the owners :)

But we had a wonderful weekend, as always. Lots of nice dogs, nice people and nice food!

May 17th:

Shownews from Finland: Oona goes 2nd best bitch at a show in Rauma, Finland under judge Harto Stockmari. Congrats Pico and Oona !

May 13:

Showresults from Norway: INT NKK Kr.Sand, May 9th - Emily goes BOB with CACIB under sighthoundspecialist Mr. Andre Van der Broek , who had this to say about Emily : "6 yr old female shown i a super condition!" Emily is currently #1 Afghan in Norway!
Pablo won the championclass and was 2nd best male with resCACIB and Lotta was 4th in Championclass! I am so proud of them!

Would also like to thank my friends for yet another super show-weekend - with lots of laughter and good meals. Also great to see a few of my friends that I haven't seen in a long long time!

And last, but not least - super huge congrats to my dear friend Friedrich with his BIS win with beautiful Amerikan Akita Paolo. It is always such a pleasure to see you in the ring.

April 25th:

Showresults from Norway: A great weekend in Stange, Norway. Emily goes BOB and Group 2nd yesterday and BOS today. Pablo wins 3rd best male both days. Armani was only shown saturday and was 4th best male and Lotta also only shown yesterday and was 2nd best bitch. And to top it off- Antheartica Afghans wins BIS-2 Breeders group on Saturday!

Thanks to all my good friends for a lovely weekend. I enjoy every minute spent with all of you ;))

February 22nd 2010:

Showresults from Norway: What a great comeback Emily and I had in the rings today!! After being gone for some months from the showring, she placed BOS with CACIB at the INT NKK Show in Bø today! Pablo also went 3rd best male together with Ketty.

Thank you all for the tremendous ringsupport. It means the world to me. Thank you also for all the nice comments on Emily - all our working out has paid off!

February 7th 2010:

Me & the dogs enjoyed a day out in the sun - together with Kenneth&Geir & their dogs. We drove to a huge, fenced in area, where the dogs could enjoy to be off-leash and really strech out! They loved it - and especially Panther! He was constantly on the run..... for 2 whole hours!! Up steep hills, through piles of snow - and chasing his friends! You could see the grin on his face. His sister and mom was not far behind, but not so active... You know  - we all have to take our moments....

January 24th:

Due to personal circumstances, the mating that I had planned for this year, will not take place. This is very sad, because I was looking forward to this litter with big anticipation. But - you can never plan your future and when drastic things happends in your life, you have to take this into consideration. So, then I have to plan a little ahead, and hopefully in 2-3 years, I will have the time and strenght to have a new litter and I have already started planning :) Needless to say, my two own bitches will be too old to have litters then, so this new litter will be a big surprice! I will post more info probably in the summer of 2011.

January 1st:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A new year with a fresh start. Geir has choosen to leave the kennel as of January 1st.

2009 was a good year resultwise for the Antheartica-family. I am pleased to announce that Antheartica Afghans will be Breeder of the Year in Norway 2009. This is thanks to the endless effort of my puppy-buyers. Couldn't have been at the top without you. I am also pleased to announce that Antheartica Afghans ended up as top breeder # 6 on the Norw. Kennel Club ranking - based on BIS-placing througout 2009 on NKK Int shows only.

As the lists of the Top 10 afghans in Norway are not official yet, I will not post the results until they are. But I can share with you, that we have 3 of our males on the top 10 male list and 3 bitches on the top 10 bitch list. This makes me very proud as a breeder.

The last shows for 2009 was Int NKK Lillestrøm, where Emily placed best bitch # 5. At the final show in Finland, Oona got a wonderful critique, but was not placed. Here is her critique:
